Story
Kailash (Prabhu) and Ganga (Jyothika) is happily married wealthy couple. Kailash buys an abandoned palatial mansion on the insistence of Ganga. Legend has it that this mansion is a haunted one. Eeswar (Rajnikant) is the foster brother of Kailash and also an excellent psychiatrist. He visits haunted house and studies it. He comes to know that a Rajah who used to live in the same place around 150 years back. He forcibly got a danseuse called Chandramukhi from Tamilnadu and made her dance in his court. When she involved herself in an affair with another dancer, Rajah killed Chandramukhi and her lover together. The ghost of Chandramukhi haunts this palatial mansion. The rest of the story is all about how Eeswar solves the problem of ghost and how he unites the warring families as well.
Ajith is an encounter specialist who aims at the criminals and tries to eradicate them from their roots. He is a sharp shooter and mimics the Hollywood heroes in some scenes like flying in the air and aiming the bad guys. His father who is a senior officer calls Ajith to trace an informer who was a follower to a criminal. Initially the informer agrees to reveal the truths of a dreaded terrorist. But due to the fear of his life the informer disappears into hiding and his name is Devan.
Devan believes that if goes against his crime lord, his life will be in serious threat and so backs off from his police approver role suspecting the police. The cops trace out that Devan’s daughter is studying in a college located in ooty and will be a great asset in luring Devan again as a police informer.
With the duty to follow Devan’s daughter Ajith walks into the college as a student and discovers another truth that his step brother is studying in the same college.
Navdeep plays the character of Ajith’s step brother who later on discovers that Ajith his elder bother and a son of his father.
Nayantara plays the role of a glam doll teacher in the movie who shows her every inch in the body liberally. Her saris minus the usual blouses and instead string supportedclothes wrapped around her bosom give the mass public an eye treat. She is seen in micro minis, floral tops which expose her well tones shapes and sizes to the maximum extent.
Piya is another heroine in this film who plays the character of Navdeep’s beloved and plays the character of the Devan’s daughter. She plays her best in the movie, but is dominated by Nayantara.
Suhasini plays the character of mother to Navdeep and is a strep mother to Ajith by the etching plot. .
The movie has nothing more to divulge and at last ends well in a happy note with the bad being punished and the good cheering up.

Pugal (Vijay) is a happy-go-lucky man who is on a mission. He works hand-in-glove for a cop, Joseph (Manoj K Jayan), who is on the lookout for an international gang led by the dreaded JD (Prakash Raj) who deals with drugs and ammunition. Pugal goes to a village and meets Jhanvi (Nayanthara), daughter of JD, and falls in love with her. He smartly uses her as a tool to reach across to JD and his gang (Devaraj, Anand Raj, Sriman, Aditya) in Munich. He eliminates them one by one using tact and cunningness. The rest of the film is how he brings JD back to India and takes revenge for the murder of his dad, a patriotic army man.
The movie revolves around an assassin Aadhavan (Surya), who can kill anyone for money. His father (Shiyaji Shinde) strikes a deal with Abdul (Rahul Dev) as per which Aadhavan is directed to kill a magistrate (Murali).
Unfortunately the magistrate survives the murder bid. Aadhavan now plans otherwise. He decides to finish his assignment by bumping off the magistrate in a house, when he decides to spend his holidays with his family.
Unfortunately all his plans to kill the magistrate fails every time. Lady luck seems to be on the magistrate’s side. Eventually Aadhavan takes a different route to finish him off. Does he succeed or not is the rest of the script which has got a twist in it.
