Paramasivan movie revolves around Subramania Siva Ajith Kumar) who is sentenced to death for killing six policemen who were responsible for the murder of his father and sister. The Jailor, a Doctor, the DGP and the SP bring him out of jail to track down 15 Pak militants.
SP of Police, Nethiadi Nandakumar (Prakash Raj) is an honest, fearless and upright police officer who has been given the mission to flush out the terrorist outfit behind the Coimbatore blasts.
He decides to employ unconventional methods to fulfill his mission and engages Siva to assist him, renaming him Paramasivan, and giving him a single point agenda – trace out and erase the persons responsible for the Coimbatore blasts. Unaware to Paramasivam, Nandakumar intends on killing him after the mission is completed.
The fly in the ointment is played by Nair (Jayaram) who is a CBI offcer and who is out to trace Paramasivan and stop his unlawful activities. Who wins this entertaining race is the story of the rest.
A NRI youth from London Santosh (Jeyam Ravi), comes to India with his mother (Geetha) to attend a family wedding. He comes across a young girl Kavitha (Trisha), who also come to attend the wedding. He falls for her instantly. After a few cat and mouse games between them, they finally come close to each other. Now they start to face problems.Kavitha's brother (Prabhu), who has brought her up in life since the death of their mother, hates rich men for a rich man ditched their mother. For Santosh, his mother is a hitch opposing his affair. What next?Santosh leaves his house to reach Kavitha's village. When his efforts to convince her brother fails, he finally accepts a challenge from him. Kavitha's brother gives him a piece of land and asks him to come up with more produce than he could. Did he accomplish the mission or not? It forms the climax.

Angry young man Thambi Velu Thondaiman (Madhavan) fights against all types of evils in the society. So, he runs into Sankara Pandian (Biju Menon), a local rowdy who brings violence into the city. Thambi is determined to vanquish Sankara Pandian's activities in the society and his fearless attitude brings fear into the face of Sanakara Pandian's gang. Meanwhile, he comes across a pretty girl named Archana (Pooja). She originally mistakes him to be a gangster, as she has seen him fighting with the rowdies. But she falls in love with him later after realizing his true nature.
Thambi thwarts Sankara Pandian's terrorizing plans with the help of his close associates. At this very moment, a flashback unravels how Sankara Pandian's gang kills Thambi's family after Thambi identifies the killer of a youth. The murderer is Sanakara Pandian's brother Saravana Pandian (Shanmuga Rajeswaran).
Shankara Pandian tries to bring about terror among the people for political reasons while Thambi tries to prevent the disaster. Later on, Thambi succeeds in changing Shankara Pandian's heart. However, Saravana Pandian is out to kill him, after coming out of the prison. The rest of the film has exciting encounters and the movie ends with a titillating climax, on a positive note for everyone.

Madhavan and Reema Sen the lovely pair of that candyfloss love story Minnale is back. The film titled Rendu will be directed by Sundar C and produced by Kushboo under their home production ‘Avni Cinemax’.
Rendu will be a laugh riot and Avni Cinemax will be producing the film on a first copy basis for leading producer Oscar Ravichandran who has slotted its release for Diwali.
The film has Maddy, Reema Sen, Vadivelu and Bhagyaraj in the lead roles and music is by D.Imman. There is a lot of situational comedy which is sure to bring the house down.
It is a casting coup as the audiences have not forgotten Rajesh and Reena Joseph played brilliantly by Maddy and Reema in Minnale a movie which was shown many many times on television.

The movie starts dramatically with Anjali (Trisha), clad in spotless white, thrusting a shining knife into Devan. As blood drips out, it never stops all through.The story is about Aathi (Vijay), is brought up in New Delhi (by foster parents Seetha and Manivannan). He comes to Chennai apparently to study. But he is thirsting for revenge on those who had bumped off his parents and close relatives of uncles and aunts who were all living together in a joint family.Anjali, aided by her uncle (Nasser) is also in the same college.
