Story:
A stale tale, the story begins with the kidnapping of Janaki (aishwarya), wife of the tough and honest cop Ram (Prithviraj) the very next day after their marriage. This is done by the most feared villain (vikram) who is the law of the land. The villain has a strong reason to kidnap Janaki and due to this, Ram starts to search for his wife and the kidnapper along with his team (Kishore and others). He also takes the help of the suspended forest officer (karthik) to locate the villain. Janaki from her end protests the kidnapping.
Presentation:
The director has come up with a good thought but then he was unable to conceive it perfectly on the screen though the presentation was excellent. The dialogues were weak, the script was shallow and the screenplay was okay. Background score was a disappointment while only one song is appealing. The real show stealer is the cinematography and the locations. Costumes were apt and the art department was alive. Vikram does a good job as the villain and he looks handsome and evil enough, this is an impressive act from him. Prithviraj puts in good efforts and it appears that his appearance suits the cop image well. Aishwarya looks beautiful and she played her part well. Karthik didn't get the chance to show his mettle, Priyamani was good, Prabhu was effective, Kishore was intense, Ranjitha was brief, others didn't have anything to offer or add value.

Thillalangadi Movie Review:
This is one film which I knew would be good even before seeing it. That’s simply because it’s a remake of a super hit telugu film being remade by director raja. He is the king of remakes. Thillalangadi is a mass family entertainer. Jeyam ravi has done a great job as the hyper kick seeking Krishna.
Krishna is a man who wants kick in whatever he does. He will go to any extent to get that kick. He even keeps giving up his well paid jobs frequently due to the lack of kick he gets from them. The short animated flashback of his childhood days and the pranks he played on others as a kid is really funny and nice. Then he meets Nisha (Tamana). Krishna falls in love with her and proposes her and also tells her not accept his proposal very easily as there would be no kick in that. She hates him at first for the kind of freak he is but then slowly understands his good part and tries to discipline him. Things go smoothly for a month. Nisha believes Krishna has changed and is working now in a good company. She wants accept his proposal but only then she is told by her uncle that he has been cheating on her and he has not changed. Nisha feels heart broken and starts hating Krishna and they break up even before getting into a relationship. After a year, nisha is in Malaysia and she gets engaged to Krishnakumar (Shaam) who is a police officer and the actual reason behind him coming to Malaysia is in pursue of a thief whom he has never seen. Nisha and Krishnakumar share their stories with each other. While she never wants to see the protagonist of her story in her life again, Krishnakumar wants to meet the antagonist of his story desperately. Co-incedently both the protagonist and the antagonist of their respective stories is the same person and as you guess that is none other than Krishna (Jeyam ravi). What happens then is for you to watch.
Paramasivan movie revolves around Subramania Siva Ajith Kumar) who is sentenced to death for killing six policemen who were responsible for the murder of his father and sister. The Jailor, a Doctor, the DGP and the SP bring him out of jail to track down 15 Pak militants.
SP of Police, Nethiadi Nandakumar (Prakash Raj) is an honest, fearless and upright police officer who has been given the mission to flush out the terrorist outfit behind the Coimbatore blasts.
He decides to employ unconventional methods to fulfill his mission and engages Siva to assist him, renaming him Paramasivan, and giving him a single point agenda – trace out and erase the persons responsible for the Coimbatore blasts. Unaware to Paramasivam, Nandakumar intends on killing him after the mission is completed.
The fly in the ointment is played by Nair (Jayaram) who is a CBI offcer and who is out to trace Paramasivan and stop his unlawful activities. Who wins this entertaining race is the story of the rest.

The film is about Durai Singam (Surya), a honest cop in Nellore, who takes up the job mainly because of his father wanting him to do. His father runs a provision stores and even Durai Singam wants to do the same. But unfortunately, he takes it up and solves out civil cases on his own attempts without failing cases. Kavya (Anushka) is the daughter a great business (Nasser) and comes for vacation. After coming across his good nature, she falls for him and even he does.
Cut to Chennai, a very bad goon Mayil Vaaganam (Prakash Raj) is ruling the city threatening the victims by kidnapping their kids. Not so long, an unexpected case puts him across Singam and they get into big fight as the high voltage chase game begins right after the interval.
Kadhal Vandhale and En Idhayam are nice to hear and the background music is too good. Camera work by Priyan is nice and editing is speed.
Enjoy this film with your family members and it is good watching it for the money you pay.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a thought provoking theme and though the presentation was average, it is the narrative that scores. The real highlight of the film is the dialogues, the script was alright and the screenplay was effective. Background score was okay and two songs are good. Cinematography was mediocre. Editing could have been better. Costumes and art department made their presence felt. Uday Kiran did his bit well and was appreciable, Meera Jasmine needs no description, she has always been on top with her roles, Richard was evil enough, Sudarshana looks sensuous, Vivek failed to impress, Radha Ravi was regular, the cameos by the noted names added value.
